Veneers are made of a thin, although strong tooth-coloured porcelain shells. They are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth to create a more aesthetic, yet natural smile.
How are veneers made?
Veneer preparations are a fairly straightforward procedure, usually needing only 2-3 visits. The preparations and bonding are completed in our surgery and the actual veneer is painstakingly hand made by our dental technician. Tooth preparation is relatively minimal.
Veneers are commonly used to:
- Cover stained or discoloured teeth
- Close spaces between the teeth
- Repair broken, chipped and crooked teeth
- Restore unsightly stained fillings
- Straighten your smile
